Palazzo Adriano is an Italian town of 2,202 inhabitants in the province of Palermo in Sicily. Palazzo Adriano Territory is rich of natural scenaries and historical evidencies.
Among the countries in the hinterland of Palermo bordering the province of Agrigento, originally arbëreshë, Palazzo Adriano still retains the liturgical rite greek-catholic and it belongs to the Byzantine eparchy of Piana degli Albanesi. The ancient village was founded in the XV century by Albanian emigrants. Albanian cultures and traditions survive along with the local culture.
Known for being among the natural set of the film Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, which won an Oscar in 1990, it is a center dedicated mainly to the cultivation and primary sector.
